With support from The Australian Government Music: Count Us In, has run since 2007 and is all about celebrating the value of music education to students' development, whoever they are, wherever they are. It involves more than 600,000 students, teachers - and often parents – from schools all over Australia who sign up to learn, rehearse, then perform the same song, on the same day, at the same time.
Over 500 Young Public School students participated in the simulcast on Thursday 31stOctober. Our students joined in the singing of the "Keep On" song. We were able to sing along with the web cast and also managed to have our school band accompany our singing. Please click the video below for a couple of our highlights.
