School Attendance

Education for your child is important and regular attendance at school is essential for your child to achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options.

Schools, in partnership with parents, are responsible for promoting the regular attendance of students. When your child attends school every day, learning becomes easier and your child will build and maintain friendships with other children.

However, it is parents who are legally responsible for the regular attendance of their children between the age of 6 and 17.

If your child is absent from school, please send a note when your child returns to school stating the date your child was away and the reason.

Alternatively, complete an absence on the Sentral for Parents app.

Sentral for Parents App

We are no longer using SkoolBag, Class Dojo, or Seesaw for parent communications. We have recently migrated to the Sentral for Parents app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Families will need to register an account and use their unique access key to connect to the school on the app. Please speak with administration staff to get your access key. We encourage all families to download and connect through the app ASAP. Our friendly admin staff are more than happy to talk you through the process.

The app will allow parents to connect directly with teachers, view newsletters, see important announcements, download forms, and more.

Alternatively view the Sentral Parent Portal here.
